The School of Agricultural Science in Hobart, at the University of Tasmania offers three and four year undergraduate degrees that equip graduates with scientific knowledge and skills in the principals and practice of a wide range of agricultural science, natural resource management and food science disciplines.
A large number of scholarships are available to undergraduate students for the duration of their degree, including a generous scholarship for interstate students to assist with HECS fees, home travel and living expenses.
Our students enjoy the use of our specialist horticultural production facility, three research farms, and visits to the many Tasmanian agricultural industries that are on our door step.
Graduates have a diverse range of employment prospects as well as opportunities for postgraduate study within our internationally recognised research centres, the Tasmanian Institute of Agricultural Research, and the Food Safety Centre.
