Belmore Boys' High is a small, comprehensive, multicultural high school in the inner west of Sydney. A rapidly improving school, recent achievements include recognition for very substantial improvements in state-wide testing of English Language and Literature attainments. The student population comprises 99% of non-English speaking backgrounds, representing some 32 distinct culture groups, the largest of which are Arabic and Pacific Islander. Recent trends indicate increasing representation of Korean, Chinese, Fijian and Vietnamese students.
