The VET system plays a vital role in the Victorian Government's commitment to improving participation and achievement in education and training by expanding opportunities for training and learning all through life.
Besides committing record investment into the VET sector, the Victorian Government has also put in place comprehensive reform to foster a more flexible education and training system.
Victoria's TAFE training and apprenticeship system provides services to more than 480,000 Victorians every year. It also covers a multitude of adult community education initiatives that are delivered by more than 450 Adult Community Education Centres and Neighbourhood Houses across the State.
