Bargara LEAD provides a fun and caring environment for children aged 6 weeks and 12 years. All our staff strives to provide an environment that encourages children to express themselves in open and engaging experiences. The Centre offers a Government approved Kindergarten program, with a 4 year qualified Teacher providing numeracy, literacy, language and computer technology.
We give confidence to all the children by adapting a holistic approach to learning; to inspire this, the Centre has its own vegetable garden that is planted and maintained by all children. The Centre also provides morning tea, lunch and afternoon prepared by our in-house qualified cook; our menu is provided by nutrition Australia and rotates quarterly.
All children’s nappies and wipes are provided by the Centre. We comply with the national sun safety council and are a sun smart Centre, providing lots of shady areas, drinks and hats for all children.
The Centre also provides a courtesy bus for our families in the surrounding area, before and afterschool care, pick up and drop off to Bargara State School, Woongarra State School, Kalkie State School and Bundaberg Christian Collage. The Centre also offers a fantastic Vacation Care program with activities both in the Centre and child friendly excursions e.g.: movies, bowling, bird sanctuary, etc.
