Sutherland’s Child Care and Early Learning Centre is run by our very experienced Team, with the owner Neisha Forbes overseeing the Administration of the Centre. The Centre is privately owned by a local family who have lived in Plenty since 1926.
The Centre is situated on a rural heritage site of 19 acres, with beautiful views of the Kinglake ranges. Kangaroos graze in the paddocks on this Enviromental Rural Zone property.
The Centre has an Open Door policy, and we offer parents peace of mind, a clean safe and loving environment for your Child. We have highly qualified staff committed to the care and development of your Child/ren Children are encouraged to learn about their environment, respect multiculturalism, gender equality and disabilities. Our staff are passionate and committed in focusing on the care of your Child, and making their experience at our Centre an enjoyable experience. We offer a kindergarten program for 3-4 and 4-5 year olds. The kindergarten program is run by a Qualified Teacher. Our staff are experienced, and come from different cultural backgrounds, some staff being multilingual and others bilingual.
All meals are cooked on site by our wonderful professional Chef, who provides delicious, tasty, and nutritious meals for the children - breakfast, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea, using fresh produce. We also have a vegetable patch, which we can source some vegetables in season, and herbs.
