Honeybee Childcare Centre we provide a warm, safe, caring and friendly environment where all children’s areas of developments (social and emotional, fine and gross motor, cognitive and language) can prosper. We believe the early childhood years are a unique and important stage of development.
Children and families come from many culturally and socially diverse backgrounds. We at Honeybee Childcare Centre endeavor to help all children and their families feel accepted as an important part of the community.
We recognise, appreciate and respect the uniqueness of each child and the right of people to make choices about their lifestyle.
Effective communication and supportive relationships exists between staff and parents to build a mutual understanding, to provide a greater consistency in children’s care and to promote children’s general sense of identity, security and wellbeing.
We recognise that all children develop at different rates and believe that our programs are flexible to cater for all of these differing needs.
All children are provided with a wealth of materials, both indoors and outdoors that will sharpen their senses and stimulate their interests. They are able to experience and experiment so that when a new concept is assimilated and absorbed, it provides a fresh basis for further expanding their cognitive skills.
Our Goal is to fully meet the needs, aspirations and potential of each child through the acceptance of respect and care for themselves and others.
