We believe that early childhood is a unique and valuable stage of life which is enhanced through participation in the kindergarten environment.
The aim of the kindergarten is to encourage positive relationships towards the community at large, as well as between committee, parents, children and staff. The inter relationships between all connected with the centre, is to be facilitated through mutual respect, social equality, co-operation, support and responsiveness.
The play-based educational program is structured to meet the individual needs of all children and it teaches them about themselves, others, the environment, routines, and expectations and helps them to acquire social skills, language skills, intellectual skills, physical skills, emotional skills and respect for people and the environment.
We believe in the importance of creating a positive and stimulating learning environment where children, families and staff feel valued, safe and secure, respected, happy, encouraged and nurtured. All involved with the kindergarten are respected as individuals regardless of ethnic background, gender, special needs, beliefs and attitudes. Our inclusive program and practice reinforces this belief.
