The Australian Maritime College is an institute of the University of Tasmania. Specialising in maritime and marine-related studies, AMC is an Australian leader in undergraduate and postgraduate degrees as well as vocational courses.
AMC offers courses in maritime engineering, logistics, management, seafaring, marine conservation and resource sustainability and is home to a unique suite of training and research facilities including the Centre for Maritime Simulations, Cavitation Research Laboratory, Towing Tank, Model Test Basin, Aquaculture Centre, Survival Centre as well as a fleet of vessels.
