The Brigidine College was established in 1929 by the Congregation of the Sisters of Saint Brigid and continues to be an order-owned school. In 1807, at Tullow in Ireland, Bishop Daniel Delany founded the Brigidine Sisters to promote the mission of education. In keeping with this rich tradition, we seek to be a place where spiritual, intellectual, personal and physical growth are given priority so that young women can develop a strong sense of balance in their lives. The College has fine education facilities. The most recent additions include a comprehensive update of computer and information technology resources, home economics facilities and science laboratories. A commitment to ongoing modernization of classrooms will ensure your daughter has access to the opportunities which will optimize her education.
