Samaritan College is an innovative initiative in the provision of Catholic education in Whyalla.
Established in 2008 through the amalgamation of St Teresa’s School, Our Lady Help of
Christians School and Saint John’s College, it offers quality co-educational learning programs
for students from Reception to Year 12 with a combined enrolment of over 1025 students.
Samaritan College welcomes students and families from all religious backgrounds and cultures.
Providing a Christian education in the Catholic tradition, Samaritan College takes its name from the Samaritan Gospel stories and its ethos is centred on the values which are at the heart of the parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37) and the encounter of Jesus with the Samaritan Woman (John 4:1-42) at Jacob’s well.
