East Preston Islamic College is a co-educational school ranging from Prep to Year 12, with approximately 600 students. It is unique in that it is predominantly an ESL school that offers the teachings and practices of the Islamic faith with a population situated in a low to very low Socio-Economic community.
Special curriculum features include an extensive English as a Second Language program through to Year 12; an Arabic foreign language instruction as part of LOTE program; Islamic Studies as part of Religious Education program, including Quran reading and memori-sation and after school tutoring and support classes for all students.
