St Luke's College was first founded in 1987 in response to the booming industries of the region. As the Pilbara's only private secondary school, it caters for Year 8 to 12 students from the Karratha township and the surrounding smaller towns of Dampier, Wickham, Roebourne and Point Samson.
The College is a thriving Catholic secondary school offering a curriculum seamlessly integrated with the local industry, environment and community.
The College takes pride in the all round achievement of our students and strives to instil high personal goals through various academic and sporting initiatives and extra curricula programmes. The strong pastoral approach and structures that pervade our school emphasise the development and differences in each individual and their particular gifts and talents.
St Luke's College has four hundred students from years 8 to 12 and 40 dedicated staff who ensure the quality of our education program.
Our vision is for St Luke's to be:
The school of choice for our community, one of the best schools in Western Australia, and a driving force in the development of the dynamic Pilbara region.
