The National Centre for Groundwater Research and Training is a cooperative research and education venture focused on processes of groundwater recharge, discharge, contamination, remediation and management.
It addresses major land and water resource issues with the interdisciplinary research expertise of 60 staff and 20 postgraduate students.

The centre has a strong commitment to the transfer of knowledge and skills in groundwater processes, in Australia and internationally, through its post graduate education and industry training courses.
