The College for Indigenous Studies, Education and Research (CISER) is located across four of USQ’s five campuses, namely: Toowoomba, Springfield, Ipswich and Fraser Coast. The College supports and advocates for all USQ Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in pre-tertiary, undergraduate and post-graduate studies. CISER offers pre- tertiary programs that can lead to undergraduate degrees. College staff teach Indigenous Studies courses at a pre-tertiary and undergraduate levels. Community Engagement is a foundation of the College and an Elders and Valued Persons Advisory Committee is supported by the senior management within the university. USQ has a commitment to Indigenous education through a Reconciliation Action Plan, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Strategies for Research and Employment and is a leading university in online delivery and has one of the highest graduate employment rates in Australia.
