EHA aims to assist health organisations in the Asia Pacific Region maximise health and service outcomes for their patients, clients and communities. By doing this we will achieve measurable improvement in the safety, appropriateness, effectiveness and integration of targeted clinical and population health policies and systems. Health care organisations will be more people-centred, technically proficient and safe, informed by the best available evidence, prevention-focused, guided by ethical principles, and well managed and efficiently run.
EHA's activities include:
*Developing and delivering under- and postgraduate education courses and programs for quality improvement in health care;
*Researching health care improvement and consumer participation methods and evaluating current services and their outcomes;
*Providing technical assistance to healthcare organisations and improvement projects; and
*Collaborating with individuals and organisations endeavouring to improve health care quality.
