Melanoma is an aggressive form of skin cancer that causes over a thousand Australian deaths each year. The ECU Melanoma Research Foundation is committed to advancing melanoma research in Australia. ECU researchers are close to completing development of a blood test that will greatly advance treatment of this cancer thus saving lives!

The Foundation, established in 2007, liaises with clinicians, melanoma patients, local businesses, researchers, and the community to ensure the relevance of their research activities.
Funds are sought for Postdoctoral Research Fellowships and PhD scholarships.
