Reservoir East Primary School is a great place to be.
The school draws student enrolments from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds, giving rise to an ethos of tolerance, harmony and warmth. The school prides itself on its ability to cater for a wide range of abilities and backgrounds. As many of our children are from a variety of non-English speaking backgrounds, our students have an opportunity to develop an understanding of other cultures.
Reservoir East Primary School has 7 classrooms, an Art Room, Library/Information Resource Centre, Computer Laboratory, and Multi Purpose Hall. Local fundraising activities have provided funds to enable the school to gradually develop and improve the overall aesthetic working environment for staff, students and parents.
The school provides rich programs across the full range of the Victorian Essential Learning Standards (VELS) domains through an integrated curriculum approach. The school has made a particular emphasis on incorporating Learning Technologies across the curriculum, and to improving literacy standards in the school. Other special or enriching features of the curriculum have included Reading Recovery, ESL support, Language, Home Reading, Integration Support and Reading Intervention Support.
