At Bullimbal, our highly-qualified, caring and experienced staff believe that we are here to make a difference for our students by maximising their learning potential in an enriched learning environment, Our supportive learning team will enhance the quality of our students' lives through encouraging independence, achievement and acceptance as they become valued members of our society. Families and carers of our students will be supported and encouraged to actively contribute to their child's education and commitment to lifelong learning. We work closely with parents and with other professionals to provide quality programs, with a particular emphasis on literacy and numeracy. In 2010 we moved into a new, purpose-built, $8.4 million school which has been the result of a partnership between our School Council and the Department of Education & Training. We receive many visitors from other schools who learn about our programs, including the Picture Exchange Communication Program, which has assisted so many of our students to communicate effectively.
