The community of Our Lady of Mount Carmel is guided by our belief that ‘Jesus is the cornerstone of our church and our faith in Jesus is the cornerstone of our school community’.
Our mission, in the spirit of the Mercy and Carmelite traditions, is to provide quality Catholic education that challenges and nurtures the individual. Positive relationships between home, school and parish are integral to the learning process and to building community.
Our Lady of Mount Carmel belongs to the Catholic system of schools in the Diocese of Parramatta. The school caters for girls and boys from Kindergarten to Year 6 in the Mercy tradition.
The school motto, Sub Tuum Praesidium, (Under Your Protection) is a Mercy legacy and refers to our allegiance to Mary, Our Lady of Mercy.
