Mildura Christian College is committed to partnering parents in their God-given responsibility to tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, his power, and the wonders he has done, so that their children might understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God. (Psalm 78:4 & Proverbs 2:5)
Mildura Christian College strives to provide a high quality education for young people, relevant to Australia, which will help them prepare for participation in Australian society by:
- building standards of integrity and faith based on Biblical precepts
- leading students to develop self-discipline, respect and love for others, regardless of race, religion, socio-economic circumstances, gender, abilities or other circumstances
- identifying natural gifts and talents, and developing these skills in a range of areas including literacy, numeracy and inquiry skills, with a strong emphasis on the mastery of basic skills
- developing the competence, efficiency and confidence of teachers and their participation in the life of the school, by organising regular training courses, attending professional development seminars, and involving parents in active roles to assist using their areas of specialised skills.
