Zeerust Primary School has been in operation since 1928 but not always on the same site.
Zeerust has always been rural and small but over the years the family occupations have shifted from mostly farming to small business owners, professionals and wage earners working in nearby Shepparton. There are families who come out to us from town.
Recent history has seen the school connected to a much bigger world via fibre‐optic cable and the internet. Each child in the school has access to a computer at the same
time.
