Cooma North Public School (CNPS) is a key member of the Monaro Education group of schools. Cooma North Public is the largest K-6 school in the Monaro Education group with an enrolment of 285 students in 2010.
With 12 permanent classrooms now a feature at CNPS, facilities at the school also include a dedicated visual arts and crafts block and a substantial school hall and a canteen area. A new Special Programs Room and four new classrooms were completed and occupied in mid Term 1 2011.

CNPS is structured around ‘stages of learning’ rather than single age-based grades, provides quality academic programs and outstanding extra curricula opportunities in dance, drama and visual arts.
