A recent school survey revealed that there was a broad, high-level degree of support for the school and its programs as well as recognition of a culture that fostered a sense of belonging and collective responsibility. Teaching and learning programs at the school implement the NSW Board of Studies syllabuses in all six key learning areas.
A strong student welfare program ensures that there is a positive climate and good discipline throughout the school to facilitate effective student learning. The district opportunity class for gifted students is based at the school. An informed learning support team monitors and reviews student achievement and supports all students to meet their full potential, while an active P&C supports the school in achieving its goals. Our school is an active member of the Cudgegong Learning Community.
