Sadleir Public School has a student population of 311 and approximately 65% of the students come from families where a language other than English is spoken at home. The school is supported through the Priority Schools Program (PSP) and Priority Action Schools Program (PAS).

The school has fourteen classes from Kindergarten to Year 6. This includes a K-2 support class language for students with expressive and/or receptive disorders and a Yr 3-6 IM support class for students with mild intellectual disabilities. There is a sessional preschool which caters for a maximum of 20 students each morning and afternoon.

The South Western Sydney Learning Assistance Team for the Ingleburn/Liverpool districts is based at the school.
