At Sturt Public School it is our desire that all children shall do well. We will provide an environment where children can experience happiness and success, both educationally and socially. This mission statement is the essence of the school's purpose. Accordingly, academic, personal, physical and social achievement are all encouraged and fostered at every stage of each student's individual development. This development involves opportunity and achievement in all prescribed curricula and in extension and extra-curricula areas. The school is well known for its success in the performing arts, sport, computer, student welfare, chess and gifted and talented programs. It is intended that, when the students complete their education at Sturt Public School, they will take with them the skills and confidence to be effective lifelong learners and responsible and caring citizens.
