Alice Springs School of the Air is one of two Schools of the Air in the Northern Territory provided by the Department of Employment, Education and Training (DEET).
The School offers a wide range of educational services and activities to isolated primary children in the southern half of the Northern Territory, the extreme north of South Australia and the south-east of Western Australia.
Staff at ASSOA understand the extreme isolation experienced by our students and their families. This booklet is produced to assist both families and staff to understand the School’s operation and to document associated information relevant to ensuring that our students receive an education which is considered first class.
