Day and Boarding, Multicultural co-educational, Pre-school to Year 12. Before and after school care available. Peace has an overarching philosophy, which applies from Preschool to Year 12. In specific relation to our Junior School Campus this philosophy encompasses the following main elements and in many College activities and of sharing their excellent resources. As well as serving Lutherans in Cairns, North Queensland and further afield, Peace is a college with a mission to share the good news of salvation through the saving grace of our Lord Jesus with both fellow Christians of other denominations as well as those of non-Christian background.
The Curriculum for the College promotes the attributes of a Lifelong Learner. It also conforms to the Queensland Studies Authority Key Learning Area syllabuses. This gives students a solid grounding in the basics of education such as literacy and Numeracy as well as exposure to many other diversified and wide ranging areas of learning, experiences and challenges. Of special note is the inclusion of and introduction to Computer, Physical Education, Music and Japanese Language to our students' Prep year.
