Pine Rivers Special School is a co-educational state special school. Students aged from approximately 5 to 18 years of age have a diagnosed intellectual impairment and may have additional disabilities.
Children whose programs are in the Early Childhood Developmental Unit (ECDU) who attend from birth / diagnosis to approximately 5 years of age have diagnosed disabilities or are suspected of having disabilities.
At Pine Rivers Special School we acknowledge the individual abilities of all students and strive to meet their needs to make a positive difference so they reach their potential as a valued and respected member of their community for the rest of their lives.
The school actively promotes positive partnerships with parents and the broader community. Emphasis is placed on
developing the knowledge and skills that enable our students to participate in society in an active and productive manner.
