Sunshine Beach is a modern, progressive and internationally accredited state high school.
Our school focuses on the development of positive relationships with students and the community, multiple pathways for students, teaching, learning and innovation. We have a strong academic focus and maintain links with several universities, whilst providing opportunities for workplace learning and certificate courses.
Sunshine Beach SHS programs are developed to meet diverse student needs and to enrich learning experiences. These programs (Curriculum and extra-curricular) develop students’ academic, civic, creative, personal and sporting skills. To meet these needs, we aim to extend our facilities to accommodate such programs e.g. computer laboratories, dance studio, film & broadcasting studio, middle school facility, marine centre, special needs life skills area, hospitality facility, language laboratory.
