Currently, 210 students represent 153 families in this small community centered school.
South Hobart Primary School aims to promote the development of learning attitudes, skills and strategies, which will equip students for life. This development takes place in an environment that is stimulating, supportive, aesthetically pleasing and effectively and efficiently organized.
The school aims to provide a supportive environment, which will foster the growth of self-esteem, confidence and sense of personal and shared responsibility.
Students have the right to be treated with respect and dignity by their peers, parents, teachers and the school community in general and the responsibility to treat others in the same manner.
Parents, as partners in the education of their children, are participants in school programs, decision making, policy development and implementation.
