Stanley Primary School is situated in Stanley, North West Tasmania. The school is surrounded by beautiful beaches and overlooked by the iconic ‘Stanley Nut’. It has a proud history and boasts a strong community connection that has grown over many generations. All students that attend Stanley Primary School live in the Stanley Township, generally walking or riding their bikes to school. Currently there are 47 students enrolled at Stanley Primary School with students in Kindergarten through to Grade 6. All students in both the Junior and Senior Classes participate in dedicated Literacy and Numeracy programs daily and access all curriculum areas during the school week, including specialist teaching in Music, Physical Education, LOTE, Arts, and ICT. Staff take pride in having a shared responsibility for every student, identifying each child’s strengths and areas of need. This gives every student the opportunity to participate in individualised learning programs specific to their needs. Our students and teachers benefit from the close relationship between the Circular Head Cluster of Schools, accessing and sharing resources, expertise and learning opportunities.
