Baxter Primary School is a great sized school with under 300 students situated in an attractive rural setting located in the ever growing community of Baxter.
It is at the northern eastern boundary of Mornington Peninsula. Established in 1890 our school has a long & proud 120 years of service to our community.
Our priorities are English and Mathematics with a strong interest being maintained in Information Technology, Sport and the Arts. Other major curriculum focal points are our Book Week/Literacy Celebrations, Asian Cultural Day, International Exchange Teachers, Outdoor Education and Performing Arts Experiences.
The staff are committed to teaching children the basics - the building blocks of language, mathematics, etc. and ways to access information, utilising knowledge in both practical and creative ways. We believe that our children have access to a fantastic range of resources at Baxter Primary School not the least of which is our talented and caring staff.
