St Luke the Evangelist School celebrates a long history of educating students in the Blackburn South parish. As part of the parish – the school, together with families have worked hard to build a community where learning, faith and partnership are central to our daily work. Our patron Saint - Luke, provides us with strong values and examples of social justice, service and discipleship.
We aspire to be a community where students feel happy and safe, where they are nurtured and valued, encouraged and supported to realise their potential. Learners are central in our exciting and everchanging learning environment.
We celebrate a diversity of culture and traditions among our families and together we learn to work and live together. St Luke’s is a wonderful family focused school where everyone is acknowledged and welcomed!
We are St Luke’s. A community of faith, learning and partnership.
Journeying together,we strive to live the gospel so that all may enjoy the fullness of life.
We look with wonder at our world and embrace learning through inquiry, through action, through reflection to realise our potential.
