St John's School is a Catholic co-educational primary school in Euroa, approximately 150 km north of Melbourne. The school was established in 1921 by the Sisters of Mercy and maintains a strong commitment to the Mercy core values of truth, love and service.
St John's has an enrolment of approximately 120 students catering for all needs. We offer a religious education program and a strong numeracy and literacy program that is complemented by an emphasis on social and emotional learning with a sustainability program, performing arts program, the Bluearth program and LOTE. In 2011 a 1:1 laptop scheme was implemented for grades 4-6.
The modern facilities, including a new resource centre, large indoor stadium and refurbished synthetic-turf basketball courts are situated on extensive grounds with an outdoor learning area and large expanses of play area. We take seriously our responsibility for the wellbeing of students with an effective pastoral care system.
Our student leadership program encourages participation and educates all senior students to be leaders in different situations. Our parent community is closely involved with school activities, through the participation of parents in the School Board, Parents and Friends as well as supporting students in the classroom
