Heyfield Primary School is centrally located in the town of Heyfield in Gippsland. The school is prominently placed on a rise overlooking the town’s magnificent wetlands area.
The school currently has a student population of 130 in six classrooms (Prep, 1/2, 2/3, 3/4, 4/5 and 5/6). The school offers additional specialist programs in Art, Music and a one to one literacy assistance program for students in Year 1. All students have the opportunity to take part in the school's Swimming Program at the Heyfield Pool (seniors) and Maffra Aquatic Centre (Juniors). Students in years 3-6 have the opportunity to be involved in the school's Camping Program.
Students are actively encouraged to represent the school in athletics, swimming, cross country as well as both Summer and Winter Sports.
