Moonee Ponds Central School is a unique Prep to Year 8 public school.
We believe that school is a place where all students feel safe, are respected and highly challenged. We also believe that school should be fun for each of our 350 or so young people. We call our curriculum "traditional with a contemporary flair".
Our school is situated in a quiet residential area less than 8 kilometres from the city centre.
Students are drawn largely from Moonee Ponds and nearby areas - Brunswick and Coburg West and Pascoe Vale.
We have strong traditions in a house system (Prep to Year 8) - high participation in sports and the performing arts, a dedicated parent community and in preparing students for school entry and ultimately for the later years of Secondary school and beyond.
