St. Fidelis’ is about learning. Learning about who we are, our God and our world. Learning involves students, teachers, parents, Parish and our local community.We learn best when we are active, work with others and understand how we learn. Together we try new things, value others and reflect on what we have learnt.
At St. Fidelis’ we aim to provide an inclusive environment which develops children intellectually, physically, socially and spiritually leading them to a love of learning. We work in a context of collective responsibility for the students learning where self-esteem, confidence and independence are promoted.
Our curriculum is designed to engage students in the contemporary world which leads students to develop deep understandings about themselves, others and the world. We build learning relationships within the global and local community and create authentic opportunities for students to learn from and with others. We provide learning experiences which enable students to take responsibility for themselves and to make a commitment to authentic action.
