Hillsmeade Primary School opened in 2003 and is located in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne within a growth corridor, currently increasing at the fourth fastest rate in Australia. Built on 3 hectares of land, the area forms part of the City of Casey. The school is surrounded by newly developed housing estates, some with large scale development planned for the near future.
The school currently has an enrolment of 890 students drawn from a number of pre-schools and a range of Early Childhood settings. We are a growing multicultural community catering for 29 languages. Our philosophy is based on nurturing the needs of individuals and placing students in the centre. Hillsmeade students are encouraged to be friendly, inclusive and confident.
