St. Francis of the Fields is one of the newest schools in the Diocese of Sandhurst. It is located in Strathfieldsaye, approximately 7 km just outside Bendigo (off the Strathfieldsaye-Eppalock Road) Victoria, Australia. Opening in 1994 with 104 children, the school has now grown to 392 children in just seventeen years.
The unique site of St. Francis of the Fields is over 28 acres and is flanked by three creeks. The school offers the services of a large Bendigo school with a rural aspect which enhances the environmental program the school so proudly offers.
