Major building works were completed in April 2008 giving the school large brand new classrooms, a large spacious administration area, library, art room and undercover area. The buildings are complemented by landscaped gardens, several imaginative playgrounds; several asphalt courts and a large gazebo with additional seating.
The school currently has a student population of 119 in five classrooms (Prep/1, 1/2, 3/4, 4/5 and 6). The school offers additional specialist programs in Art and Music, Health and Physical Education, Reading Recovery (one to one literacy assistance program for students in Year 1) and user pay lessons in keyboard and guitar. The school also has a percussion band for students in Years 3 -6, this group regularly performs and utilises a wide variety of percussion instruments. All students have the opportunity to take part in the school's Swimming Program at the Churchill Leisure Centre and students in Years 3-6 have the opportunity to be involved in the school's Camping Program. Whole school sport is conducted each week and students are actively encouraged to represent the school in athletics, swimming, cross country as well as both Summer and Winter Sports.
The school is part of the Active After School Communities Program which runs each term for seven weeks each Tuesday and Thursday from 3.30pm until 4.45pm. There is no charge for this program and a wide variety of activities are on offer such as archery, dance, tennis and minor games.
Each classroom is equipped with a combination of computers and laptops, all with internet access. The school also has an interactive whiteboard in each classroom. The school realises the importance of keeping abreast of new technologies and readily implements new ICT initiatives.
