Latrobe Special Developmental School provides a comprehensive curriculum for students with intellectual and associated disabilities between the ages of 4.8 and 18 years who reside in Latrobe City. The School provides a specialised and challenging curriculum in a supportive environment that promotes personal independence and a valued lifestyle.
Teaching and learning takes place in spacious, well-equipped rooms surrounded by well established and attractive gardens, specialised playing and outdoor eating areas. The School has multi sensory rooms and sensory garden; Hydro therapy spa; Shaded areas with modern playground equipment and a purpose built bike track. The school is also in the process of constructing a multi- purpose building on site.
