The Little Yarra Steiner School is an independent, co-educational and non-denominational school managed by a "College of Teachers". It is a member of the Rudolf Steiner Schools Association of Australia and the Association of Independent Schools of Victoria, registered under the Ministry of Education and incorporated as a non-profit company in Victoria.
The school receives recurrent funding from both, the Victorian and Commonwealth government. Substantial Government Capital Grants and private donations of time and money have made the ambitious building program possible.
