At Holmesglen, our focus is on producing graduates with the skills and knowledge necessary to work in this vibrant and dynamic industry. Holmesglen IT students undertake learning in skill areas demanded in today's modern economy. Graduates can work in a wide range of careers and fields, including networking (LAN/WAN); security; programming; database development; website development; systems management; business analysis; video production; multimedia development; and animation. From 2011, Holmesglen will offer a Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, with specialisation in programming and analysis, using an SAP Enterprise platform.
Our students are actively engaged in project based learning activity and many have achieved significant success in prestigious national and international higher education and tertiary sector competitions.
Many of our graduates are employed in successful careers throughout the world. Some have acquired specific skill sets to better equip them in their continuing working role as an IT professional, while others have used Holmesglen as a pathway to higher education qualifications. Students of Holmesglen are able to access ICT specific programs, supported by key industry alliances, with leading vendor providers, such as Microsoft and SAP.
