Our centre provides Preschool and Occasional Care Programs which cater for up to 27 children per session. We aim to provide an environment that is safe and secure, happy, welcoming and supportive for children and families.
Each term we explore an inquiry topic based on observations of children’s learning needs and interests. Our program is planned using the Early Years Learning Framework: Belonging, Being and Becoming and the Project Approach to Learning which draws on Reggio Emilio philosophies. The attractive outside area is an integral part of our learning environment.
Our Centre, although small, is well resourced with curriculum materials (including an Interactive Smart Board) which encourage problem solving, exploration, creativeness, independence, socialising, negotiation and decision making.
