English Language and High School Preparation Centre
Milpera State High School is a state secondary school which provides English language, high school preparation and settlement services to prepare newly arrived immigrant and overseas fee-paying students for participation in High Schools around the Brisbane area. Milpera School is committed to maximising the full human potential of every student within a socially just and cultural inclusive environment. We will achieve this by delivering a quality educational and settlement service that is needs based in order to gain the best learning and settlement outcomes for our learners and their families. Our Director of studies and admin staff work closely with all International students to ensure that issues related to both school and homestay are problem free. Our CARE program focuses on issues related to self-esteem and personal development. Our school based Youth Health Nurse works closely with students on all health issues.
