Chapman Primary School caters for children from Preschool to Year 6. Although the Preschool is situated in another building there are strong links with the children and activities in the Primary School allowing for a smooth transition into Kindergarten. Class arrangements vary from year to year based on our numbers. In Kindergarten to Year 3 this is around 21 while in Years 4 to 6 it is 25-30.
Classes are arranged into units which work together to provide strong learning programs as well as opportunities for children from different classes to work and learn together. Children also work within the realm of the Junior School (K-2) and Senior School (3-6) for different activities.
Other events such as assemblies and Book Week are conducted on a whole school basis ensuring an environment where children feel happy, safe and valued.
