Belmont Public School is set in expansive grounds with modern well equipped buildings. The school has a hall, library and covered outdoor learning areas as well as a new computer lab.
The school encourages each student to strive for individual excellence in a supportive learning environment. The school implements the very successful L3 literacy program in kindergarten and "Focus On Reading" in grades 3-6. The school promotes technology through the use of interactive whiteboards in classrooms. The school also has a strong emphasis on the performing arts through band, choir, and a biennial whole school performance.
