Albert Park Public School is nestled on a hillside, on the edge of town, adjacent to a wildlife corridor. The school enjoys spacious double classrooms, equipped with individual computers for each child. Technology is a feature and computers are linked to the internet and throughout most of the school. Shaded spacious playgrounds boast basketball courts, soccer fields, cricket areas, playground climbing equipment and sandpits.
A caring, inclusive and participative small school ethos is maintained. The school is characterised by open communication and continuous improvement. Effective partnership between the school and the home is a priority. Student Representative Council, P & C, Staff, Students and parents are all involved in setting and achieving the goals and objectives of the school. A very pro-active welfare and discipline policy has resulted in a unique positive learning environment.
