Miranda North Public School serves the area bounded by Port Hacking Rd., Taren Point Rd., Foreshaw & Gwawley Parks. The enrolment of 250 is mainly from this area but includes some 94 from outside the feeder area. There is no public transport servicing the school so the children walk to school or use private vehicles. The community is proud and protective of the school with its grassed play areas and fixed playground equipment. The school is highly regarded for strong and fair discipline as well as outstanding programs in literacy, physical education and music. The school has a modern and efficient technology and multimedia lab and all learning spaces are networked and have internet access.
