Miranda Public School aims to provide a happy and stimulating environment and educational experience which will facilitate the growth of our students towards full potential in the moral, social, academic, physical, emotional and cultural areas. The school has a strong emphasis on diagnosing student's learning problems and extending student's talents. Miranda PS has a well established schoo guitar program, K-6 weekly gymnastics program, computer room and Internet access to classrooms, strong literacy and numeracy programs including Reading Recovery and 'Count Me In Too'. The school is centrally located in Miranda on the western side of Westfields Miranda in Sylva Avenue, alongside the Miranda Public Library and the council pre-school and day care.
